You can have sounds notify you when a pop-up has been blocked, and pop-under windows can also be stopped.

Mars is a good program that cost about 80 pounds but since the person who developed the program passed away "Mr. Lee Nelson" the family and friends decided to make the software careware. It is now available for free download, all you are asked to do is submit an e-mail address and you can download it. If you then choose to keep the software they ask that you make a donation to the fund. Check out the site.
